PD Manager
Application Name: PD Manager
PD Manager is an offline-first password manager for Android. Your vault is encrypted on your device (AES-256) before it is stored. Optional encrypted backup and restore is available through your own Google Drive.
1. Purpose of the Application
The primary purpose of PD Manager is to provide users with a secure, offline-first environment to safely store and manage their sensitive credentials, such as passwords, secure notes, PINs, and recovery codes. It helps users maintain strong security by keeping all data encrypted on their local device, giving them complete control over their digital privacy.
2. What PD Manager Does
- Stores passwords and logins in a private vault on your device
- Stores secure notes (PINs, recovery codes, Wi‑Fi passwords)
- Supports biometric unlock where available
- Provides optional encrypted backup and restore using your Google Drive
3. Google Sign-In and Google Drive (Optional)
PD Manager uses Google Sign-In only if you enable Backup & Recovery. Google account access is used to authenticate and to access your Google Drive for backup and restore.
When enabled, Google Drive access is used only to:
- Create an encrypted backup file of your vault (at your request)
- Restore your vault from that encrypted backup file (at your request)
- Verify the selected Google account before accessing the backup file
PD Manager does not request access to Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or other Google Drive files.
4. Privacy Summary
- Vault contents are encrypted on-device before storage
- Encrypted backups are created before upload to Google Drive
- No ads and no selling of user data
